Ubuntu Studio 8.10
Imagine baixar um estúdio completo de animação de graça! Isso é o que promete o Linux Ubuntu Studio, uma versão modificada do Ubuntu Linux tradicional com todos os programas grátis que existem por ai para computação gráfica já instalados, configurados e prontos para usar. A vantagem é que ele anda de mãos dadas com as atualizações do Linux Ubuntu original que no momento está na versão 8.10.
O pacote segue cheio de programas de som e com menos programas de animação. Acredito que isso aconteça porque os programas de animação são maiores e normalmente fazem todo o trabalho, enquanto os de som são mais simples e dividem o trabalho entre si, dai existem mais programas de som desenvolvidos do que de animação. Mas fiquem tranqüilos porque parece que todos os softwares importantes de animação estão lá, prontos para usar.

Eu acabo de baixar a minha versão do Ubuntu Studio para começar a me acostumar com as ferramentas. Vou brincar com ele no meu laptop e posto revisões assim que tiver alguma opinião.
